Video consistency and controls
Making generated video keep identity, motion, and style stable across frames—and giving creators knobs (seed, duration, motion strength, reference frames) without enabling harm.
What it is
Making generated video keep identity, motion, and style stable across frames—and giving creators knobs (seed, duration, motion strength, reference frames) without enabling harm.
Why it matters
Video models fail via flicker, identity drift, and physics nonsense. Controls + evaluation matter more than one pretty demo frame.
How it works (plain)
Reference images/clips constrain identity; motion parameters trade dynamism vs stability; shorter clips are easier. Always apply consent rules (no nonconsensual likeness).
Try it
Generate two short clips with the same subject reference and different motion strengths; note drift.
Myths
- ⚠️ Myth: Longer always looks more cinematic.
- ✓ Reality: Longer often means more inconsistency unless controls are strong.
